Sizing

  • Paint

    We apply a second layer of protective clear coat to the paint. It’s more work for us but it makes the paint stronger and more resilient for you. Two coats are better than one.

  • Leather Wrapped Grips

    Hand-stitched genuine leather grips naturally absorb sweat and soften over time. If you ever had your skin against vinyl on a hot summer’s day, you’ll understand why we can’t compromise on genuine leather.

  • Hardware

    Wherever possible, we've chosen to make all the nuts, bolts, and washers on our bikes out of stainless steel. Stainless is much more resistant to rust than your typical chrome-plated hardware. This small detail extends the life of your bike and helps to preserve its good looks.

  • Headset

    The flat surface of a headset is a place where water often settles and over time rust develops. That's why we chose to make our sets out of aluminum so they don’t rust.

  • Internal Gears

    This bike is internally geared, which means you have the benefit of multiple gears without a cumbersome derailleur. For city riding, internal gears have many advantages. They are extremely reliable, require very little maintenance, you can shift without pedaling, and they're very easy to use.

  • Reflective Tire Wall

    This bike has reflective tire walls, greatly enhancing your visibility at night. You can see quite clearly that without the reflective tire wall, a bike is nearly invisible on a dark street.

  • Sealed Bearings

    This bike has sealed bearings in the front hub. The advantages of sealed bearings over loose bearings are less friction, no maintenance, and more resistance to grit, grime, and weather, making for smooth rides and extending the life of the bike.

  • Spokes

    We use 13 Gauge stainless steel spokes on the rear wheel because they are thicker and stronger than the standard 14 Gauge. Stronger spokes make stronger wheels, which is great when carrying extra weight like groceries or toddlers over bumpy city streets.

Our New Dutchi 3i Really Turns Heads...

The Dutchi 3i is the quintessential classic bike. Every time we take it out for a spin we get many compliments. With its classic looks and smooth ride, it's a great choice to take leisure rides in the neighborhood, or in the bike paths around town. The construction is very solid, well-built, so I see it enduring over many years and many miles. I searched long and hard for a bike that had "that look" and the Dutchi 3i certainly is that bike!

Dutchi 3i cream color

I give this bicycle 5 stars. It’s so beautiful. The color, the design, the details and the way it all flows, it’s perfect. It’s a leisure bicycle and I have been riding it on pavement roads and bike trails. The 3 speeds are all I need and they transition very smoothly. I plan to take it to my farmers markets this summer and ditch my car for a few months. I’m a mom of two and plan to purchase a Burley Bee bike trailer so hopefully the assembly to attach it to the bike won’t be an issue. I had it shipped to my home and then took it to my local bike shop to assemble. No issues there. One thing I should mention and I’ve already emailed Linus about this is when the bicycle arrived a part of the bike was protruding from the box scuffing paint in the area of the rear tire. The customer service responded right away and told me they would ship me that part to replace the damage (the bike is still rideable it’s just a cosmetic flaw) but I would say the bike needs to be packaged and wrapped up better for shipping in order to avoid this. Fun and Comfortable

I usually use a road bike for zipping around town as well as racing in Triathlons. I wanted something a little more comfortable to just cruise around on. The Dutchi 3i meets my needs! Great bike.

Handlebars rock, best posture ever

One thing I noticed about my new bike is the great posture that I have while riding it. The seat to handlebar length is perfect. I have never had such pure joy from riding a bike since I was 13 and road for hours . The 3 speed is perfect to go up and down hills. I rate this 5 stars and have recommended to others. Now, I need to order the basket for my dog.

Love our new Bike!

Our new bike came sooner than expected and we are thrilled! The assembly was great and only took about 15 minutes. The ride is fantastic, and the parts are very high quality.
